1:1 adaptive sessions
One surfer, a lead coach and water support. Best if it's your first time, or you need close hands-on assistance in and out of the water.
Book a 1:1Adaptive surf sessions
One-to-one and small group sessions with qualified adaptive coaches, built for surfers with disabilities, neurodiversity and mental health conditions — and the people who support them.

How a session works
We meet you on the beach, talk through what you need, and adapt the kit, the coaching and the pace to suit. Adaptive boards, trained volunteers, and a stretch of Bude coast that knows us well. You bring the willingness; we'll handle the rest.

Sessions that meet you where you are
Every session is built around the person in the water. We talk first, plan together, then head to the beach with the kit, coaches and volunteers to match. Sessions run from Summerleaze and Crooklets in Bude.

A great way to experience everything surfing has to offer. Solo riding can be prone, kneeling, or standing up — perfect for anyone who can self-support on a board.
Our seated board is a fantastic way to experience surfing for those less able to self-support. The mounted seat is super comfy on a stable 11'6 board.
Get closer to the action! Using our FLOWT prone boards with built-in handles, chest riser and leg support — ride with added confidence.
Epic fun! Get the rush of riding a wave with a coach right there on the board with you. Lay prone or kneel — whatever suits you best.
For those who love the feeling of standing, a coach shares the board and the expertise — so you can ride a wave to your feet together, safely.
Our team
Every AdSurf session is run by qualified adaptive surf coaches and supported by trained volunteers from the Bude surf community. We plan each session around the person in the water — their goals, their access needs, the day's conditions — and we don't put anyone in the sea until they're ready.
